Distributed Antenna System (DAS)

DAS are the deployment of various antenna configurations. They are used to enhance or extend coverage of cellular signals inside and outside of structures. 

Installing a Distributed Antenna System has the following advantages and features:

• They provide increase in capacity of cellular tower by having multiple antennas for single or multiple bands for multiple technologies (GSM, CDMA, LTE, LTE-Advanced, DMR, TETRA etc).

•  In DAS technology, cell towers have provision to add antennas as per specific requirements in the future. Hence increase in bandwidth demand can be managed very easily.

• Helps to provide internet connectivity in the single area by multiple telecom carriers.

• It helps to overcome RF interference as same coverage is covered with lower transmit powers from various antennas.

• Provides greater customer satisfaction as there are no dropped calls or blocked calls. Moreover network access failures are less.

• Improves the speed of communication using MIMO/Beamforming techniques.
